We zochten een cafe voor een kop koffie en kwamen deze plek toevallig tegen. Het terras zat vol want er was een wielerwedstrijd. En Sterke Jan was ook aanwezig.
Gezellige sfeer en na de koffie smaakte ook het pintje prima.

Gezellige ontmoetingsplaats voor alle leeftijden ... er heerst steeds een aangename sfeer ... je hoeft nooit lang te wachten op je bestelling ... Zeer klantvriendelijke bediening en soms word er zelfs n praatje gelaakt naargelang de drukte ... een topper om gezellig is iets te gaan drinken ... er is ook n biljarttafel die steeds in gebruik is ... kortom: een aangename sfeervolle plaats om te komen ...

The pub is rather large with several tables inside. I was here in winter so I don't know if you can sit outside as well. They have a pool, that sometimes attracts a younger more roudy crowd. When we were there we couldn't always understand each other because the people at the pool were making to much noise.
They apparenlty also have some separate rooms in the back for more private events or gatherings.

Been here lots of times, but recently had an extremely unpleasant experience here. I arrived with my partner and cousin, we sat down and Gert immediately came out to take our order. (keep in mind that due to the corona pandemic, there are no physical menus to choose drinks from) I appreciate the fact that he was there to take our order so quickly, although none of us had made up our mind on what we wanted to drink yet. After we asked him to give us a moment to think and come back a few minutes later, he proceeded to tell us that 'we can't come to a cafe and not order anything, and that we were taking up space for other potential clients.' We were quite upset with this reaction considering we simply asked him to give us a few minutes to decide on our order. Extremely rude and unpleasant, made it very uneasy for us to be there.... (debated leaving, but we ended up staying considering another group of friends was planning on meeting us there later that evening). Would not recommend this place anymore.

We just went for a few beers and that was great; friendly service, super location, cosy terrace atmosphere, normal prices.
The facilities were not exactly corona-proofed, but that is the case in many places, so I don't blame them.
