The tea house is a serene environment tucked in the back of the garden. There is upstairs, downstairs, and outdoor seating. The menu met everyone's dietary needs, and the dishes were light but satisfying. The tea set provides refill after refill as you can continue to steep the leaves. Take your time and enjoy the experience.

I've never been in an actual Teahouse, but Lan Su's Teahouse takes the garden experience to another level. The view from the dining area out into the garden is great, and it's a nice area to relax if you've been walking around a lot for hours. As for the food, I have no frame of reference for comparison to actual Chinese dishes, but it was good. It's been a while since I've been through Portland, but I'd definitely stop by again if in the area and encourage you to as well.

Gorgeous tea house with indoor, upstairs, and outdoor seating. Has a restroom nearby and sells some tea as well. Highly recommend the 7 treasure tea, moon cakes, and peanuts. Atmosphere was wonderful and service was excellent. You also get free hot water refills of your tea!

This is a beautiful little tea house. There's a large selection of loose-leaf teas to choose from and a small selection of snacks and small plates. Great views of the garden from the upper floor of the teahouse, which is only accessible to paying customers. They also sell tins of tea and have a fun selection of traditional tea sets for purchase.

A lovely tea house within the garden serving light snacks and various kinds of tea. It’s such a tranquil and peaceful surrounding. The tea was served in a very small tradition pot which comes out very strong and staff frequently topped it up with water. I had the Long Jing tea for $7 which a bit pricey for that quality. I didn’t think the tea was good quality, if it was then it shouldn’t look like that. This type of tea needs space to float vertically.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Overall, l enjoyed just sitting upstairs in the tea house reading while enjoying one of my favourite tea.

The kids and I had a wonderful experience here. We were able to get a table on the second floor and the view was wonderful looking out over the garden. The food was delicious though a little more expensive than we expected. We ordered eight different items from the food menu to sample a little of everything in addition to the tea. They had different and unique flavors. We were surprised and pleased. 🙂 The atmosphere was relaxing and everyone was very friendly.

Absolutely my new favorite chill oasis in Portland! Perfect for a date and a light lunch/afternoon tea (especially if one or both of you are vegan).

I recommend the jasmine hot tea and the rose black tea and I especially recommend the mooncakes! Best I've ever had!!

Having tea and dumplings here was the highlight of my Portland visit!

Teas are of the highest grade and have a wonderful flavor.

My wife and I spent about an hour here enjoying our tea and the peaceful surroundings.

A local artist creates Chinese calligraphy + art, and you can have one (or more) in exchange for a donation(s).

We left refreshed and renewed.
